How to reach us

The Department of Information Engineering is located at the University Campus of Parma (Parco Area delle Scienze 181/A). The DEAS offices and laboratories are in the buildings 3 and 4 at the Research Center of Engineering.
It is possible to reach Parma by train, plane and car. Once reached Parma by plane or train, it is possible to reach the Campus by bus.

If you use a satellite map (e.g. Google Maps or car navigator) pay attention to a probably automatic redirect to "Viale delle Scienze" that it is not at the University Campus.

By train
The University Campus can be reached by bus (numbers 7 and 14) from the railway station of Parma. The travel time is approx. 20 min.

By plane
Parma airport is connected with London (Stansted), Tirana and Trapani. To reach the numbers 7, 14 and 21 bus stop near the railway station of Parma, outside the airport there is the bus number 6 (leaving every 1 hour).
The closest main italian airports are located in Milano (Linate e Malpensa) and Bologna.
How to reach Parma from Milan Linate airport: outside the airport there is a bus going to "Milano Centrale" (Railway station) leaving approx. every 30 min. (journey time is approx. 30 min).
How to reach Parma from Milan Malpensa airport:
The centre of Milan ("Milano Centrale" railway station) is about 50 kilometers far from Malpensa airport. Milan can be reached by car, by train or by bus. The best choice to reach the main railwail station is the bus. For further information visit the site www.seamilano.eu.
